The plan was to launch a new website in early January and yet here we are in the middle of February stuck with the same old website. But there is light at the end of the tunnel! The new site is 95% complete and will (hopefully) be online within a week.

-New songs online-
At last! Now you can listen to three (3) brand new trax at our MySpace and Trig sites. We´ve had some trouble to get the songs online here at our official website. Right now we don´t know what the problem is but we´re trying our best to sort it out.
And don´t forget 12 Timmarsgalan at Pipeline this weekend. Both Friday (14th) and Saturday (15th) will be packed with great music!

-November update-
As usual it´s now been a while sense anyone wrote anything about whats goin on in the band, but here´s the latest news!
The new demo for 2008/2009 has now been mixed and mastered and we are currently trying to figure out some good names for the songs and some cool artwork for a new website. It´s hard to say when some of the new songs will be online but you will be able to buy the new demo at our gig on "12 Timmars Galan" at pipeline 14-15 november.
And speaking of gigs! The gig at Primero is Cancelled but pipeline is stil on! We have not yet recived info about what date or time we will be playing, but as soon as we know anything it will be posted online.

-Studio blogg-
Here is the studio blogg for all of you who have´nt found our MySpace and Trig.com sites. It´s now much, but it´s something ;) Enjoy!
Pt 1.
We've just finished our first day at Studio Domsaga. We've recorded all drum parts and started with the rhythm guitars. The recording continues tomorrow.
Pt 2.
We're back after the second day of the recording of the new demo. This day went perfect and we recorded all rhythm guitar parts. Tomorrow is our last day at Studio Domsaga and recording the bass is the plan.
Pt 3.
We're finished with our recordings at Studio Domsaga. We want to thank our producers Roger Bergsten and Daniel Mikaelsson for their patience during this weekend.
The vocals and additional guitar stuff are planned to be recorded as soon as possible. We'll keep you updated!

-October Update-
So here we are now in October! We´re about to start the recording sessions for the latest (and greatest!) Black Bay demo. We will enter studio Domsaga this week/weekend to record drums, rhythm guitars and bass. Clean guitars, lead´s and vocals will be recorded within the following weeks, and the plan is to be finnished before November 1st. More info about the recordings, videos from the sessions etc will of course be uploaded aswell!
We allso have two gigs for November planed. The first one will be at Primero´s Halloween party in Sundsvall and the secund gig will be at Pipeline in midle of november. More info about the gigs is on it´s way!

-August Update-
Okey, since it´s been over a month whitout any updates, here´s some news. We have a confirmed gig at Legionfestivalen this year. We played the same festival last year and the people there really like´d us! The gig´s at saturday august 30th, and we hope to se many people in front of the stage.
Some other news. We are stil working on new songs for our upcoming demo that will be recorded this fall. Number of tracks will be... 6!!! More updates on that will come within the next couple of weeks.

-June update-
It's been a while since we wrote anything on this site, so why not make something about it.
We're currently working on new songs for and up-coming demo. The songs we've written so far are really great and we're really looking forward to start the recording. We don't want to rush things so we haven't planned to start the recording until this fall.
In the meantime, be sure to check out Lars' other band Legium. They are opening for the excellent band Soreption this Saturday (2008-06-28), at Club Deströyer in Sundsvall. If you live nearby, don't miss it.

-May update-
It´s now been a while sense the website was updated so here comes the latest news. We are currently working on writing new stuff and rehearsing old songs. The plan is to record mor new songs earley this fall. We don´t know how many songs their will be but it will be more than just 4 trax that we have done in the past.
We are also constantly looking for new gigs, but our main plan is to use the summer to write new more awsome songs ;)
If you´re into death metal with some progressive elements you might like Lars new "death metal project" that he has started with Ludde from Cynical Hatred, Ragge from Ingnis and Emil from Ratched. Check out their MySpace for more info!

Black Bay has cancel´d their two remaning "Rockkarusellen" gigs, due to lack of information from the organizer at Rockkarusellen and a very low audience number. We truly apologize to everyone who planed on seeing Black Bay at Matfors 8/3-07 and Ljustadalen 14/3-07.

Yes, the excellent web-radio channel P3 Rockster have chosen our latest demo "Obsessed" to be their demo of the month. They will be playing the title track of that demo every day for one month, and even more if people like it.

-Thanks Sundsvall!-
First of all... a f*cking huge THANK YOU to everybody who came down to Stations scenen last night and kicked ass!!! This was on of the best (if not the best) gigs that we in the band has ever had! We have never played in front of so many people before and we really hope to do that again soon! Also a big thanks to all of you who bought our demo and to all of you who wanted to buy one, but i can assure you that there will be more demos at the next gig so if you did´nt get one last night there is allways a secund chance!
There will also be an update on live photos and films at the end of next week. We have some pics from gatufesten but if you got som of your own PLEASE send us some copies! -Legion festival report-
We have just arrived home from färgelanda and Legion festival 2007, and we simply just whant to say thanks to everybody that saw us down in färgelanda! You guys rock!!! We hope to return next year for Legion festival 2008.
Right now we goona take a break for a few days and then hit the Station stage on wednesday at sundsvalls gatufest!

-New gig at Legion festival-
We are proud to announce that we will be headlining this years Legion Festival. It's a festival for un-signed bands in a little village called Färgelanda, about 110 km north of Göteborg (Gothenburg). The festival will take place between the 29:th to the 30:th of June. We will play 00:15 on the 1:st of July.
So if you live nearby, come and watch us do our first gig in the southern part of Sweden. The best part of it all, it's a free entrence festival!

Tonight we played at Härnösands Teater on Musikdirekt länsfinal. Unfortunately we did´nt make it to the big national finals of Musikdirekt, but we hade a great gig in Härnösand and we hope that we will be able to return for some more gigs in Härnösand in the future.
We are now loading up for Påskrocken at Opalen and Demovision at Domsaga. We´ll also try to have our new demo "Final Sacrifice" ready for those gigs. Hope to see ya there!!!

Finaly, it´s time for some new gigs! As you might know, we have a gig at UKM this saturday (24/3) at Opalen in Kvissleby, but that was all we knew until today. You can find more info about the UKM gig under Gigs.
"So what about the new gigs?" The new gigs will be Påskrocken 2007 at Opalen (suprise suprise) and Demovision at Domsaga. Black Bay would like to thank all the people that came down to Pipeline last friday, and made Riotclub 0003 one of the best gigs ever! It's know confirmed that the gig on Hus 25 (Demo-Lition) will be on this Friday 1st September 20:00.
The bands preforming that night will be Veil, Black Bay and JAVA. Pure whont be joining us this night due to some problems in the band.

FINALLY Black Bays first demo "The Beginning" is complete. We have been working hard as hell for about 2 weeks and know it's done! As you might know, Black Bay started to record a demo at LV5 studios late this spring. But the sound in that studio was'nt what we were looking for so now we are back in a studio (this time at Black Fire Studios) to try and record some great music!
The sessions will start at V.30 and the demo will be done in early August (if everything goes well.)

!Updated Demo news!
We will start to record our first demo named The Beginning the 1st of may at the LV5 studio.
The setlist will be: Intro / In the fire, Future Away, Tears of Madness, Feel the Pain and The War.
We hope that the demo will be finished on 4th of may.

!1st Place at Påskrocken!
It's now confirmed that Black Bay won the competition at Opalen (påskrocken) and the first price is a gig at Torget in Sundsvall at Ungdomens dag. We don't have a confirmed date, time etc but that info will be published soon!
Finaly we would like to thank everybody at Opalen Kvissleby and all you people that saw us on Påskrocken 2006!

!2nd place at Demovision song contest 5!
Last night we played at Domsaga and came in at secund place in the Demovision 5 contest!We in the band would like to thank all of you that voted for us and we hope to see you again soon!

A verry big thank you to everyone that came to see us at Påskrocken on Opalen! We in the band had a great time on stage and we hoped that we will see you at Demovision the 21st of April on Domsaga!

To answer one question... Yes we filmed our last gig at Pipeline and a few clips will soon be under "Media" and "Live clips". We are goona try to film Påskrocken and Demovision aswell, and if YOU have some pics from Pipeline or if you where planing of taking pictures at Påskrocken or Demovision we would be glad if you whanted to send some of those to us so that we can put them on this site! On April the 14th it's once again time for Påskrocken at Opalen in Kvissleby. Black Bay and a few other local bands will prefom.

!Pipeline 31/3-06!
Black Bay now have their first gig at Pipeline in Sundsvall! Togheter with 8 other local bands, Black Bay will enter the stage on the first of a two day music fest! On day one (Friday 31/3) will Black Bay, Ingnis and Endflow Play and on day two (saturday 1/4) will Unborn, Eye of mary, The Vol, Great @ and Chaotic Imps play.
Time for friday 7:00 pm (Black bay will play at 8:00 pm)
Time for Saturday 6:00 pm
The entrence fee is 60:- for one night and 100:- for both nights.
